Default How to use a Microscope

To be honest, i have no real clue about how to use a microscope. Required equipment and stuff.. i dunno. And that's why I started this thread. A place to post and share knowledge about how to use a microscope.

Digital microscopes are very expensive and so are the adapters. About $400 for a kit and over a $1000 for a camera package. You can do the same thing without the $$$$$$, with a little practice. Using a 30X pocket microscope or a 200X pro scope you can photograph images with your digital camera ( if it has a monitor viewer). Put your specimen on a slide or with the 30X pocket microscope a flat surface that is a different color from your specimen. Focus the image with your eye in the microscope eye piece. Put your camera in the MACRO mode and turn off the flash. Looking at the monitor on your camera put the lens of the camera up to the eye piece of the microscope. When you see your specimen clearly, take the shot. Lighting is important to get the clearest picture. The 200x pro microscopes needs to have the light hitting the top of the specimen not going up through, unless you want to show the inter structure. Do this by placing a lamp above the specimen. This may takes a little while to get on to but "practice makes perfect".

That sounds like a decent and cheap idea. I was thinking since quite some time about getting the required stuff for doing more own research. I have virtually become sick of waiting. Not to mention that I don't trust the medical mystic establishment. These "scientific" Gatekeepers are probably not even searching for a cure. I'm not gonne waste more time with these good for nothing Gatekeepers. Just like Benjamin Franklin put it once; "the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results". I'm not insane yet!

I want to start some trials about there resistance to different substances, heat, cold and stuff like that.

baukunin, great post! as for the option you use for relief, well may be illegal but beats the psych drugs many wish to give us, a band aid for a severed leg. kiss it and it will go away, they say. yeah, right! bs i am not supporting marijuanna use, i know it is illegal here in the states. however, in some states it can be prescribed as some medical doctors are realizing its medicinal benefits, especially for cancer patients. some prescribe smoking marijuanna and others thc pills. so lets be a bit respectful that at least baukunin is finding relief, even though through a less traditional method. i do not recommend breaking any laws, but if could get a prescription legally would do so in a heartbeat. i do not do drugs at all, so going to see doctor tomorrow im scared about things. i have had to go all this time with nothing for the pain. by the way wish to add baukunin there is hope for research. dr. karjoo in santa ana, california united states, wishes to come up with a vaccine. he is also treating morgellons patients for free and accepting samples from them. i think he has known about this disease for much longer than he claims because of the controversy. he is my only true hope, and i believe he is earnest in his desire to help folks and not just make a buck. go to http://www.rense.com and peruse the morgellons section. they also have lots of other interesting stuff if would like to check it out. you have informative posts and at least for me, you are always welcome here. take care, and keep up the good work.
