Hi BB Thanks so much for the info. I'm sure others will find it usefull . Too bad it's way over my head. ![]() Can any computer do those things? I hope I'm not being too rude by changing the subject a bit...... but was wondering if you could tell me how to make pics smaller when you copy and paste the link? Also how to make a thumbnail image that will enlarge when you click it? Thanks so much for your help. wth

Hi WTH, you looked on topic to me since I left some info out ![]() Your pictures have to be modified before they are uploaded if you're uploading them to this forum. If you've uploaded them to another site and then hyper linked to the image, then those pictures don't cost this forum space and you are subject only to the limitations of whoever is hosting your images. At least for my account, the thumbnail action happens automatically for images attached to a post that are larger than approximately 150 x 150 dpi. I don't use the "insert image" option, which probably costs this forum more space come to think of it (I'm keeping my images under 30 kb). Anyway, if you're using the "insert image" button, that may be why you're not getting a thumbnail. However, if you're really worried about your pictures looking too large, then posting a hyperlink may bean alternative. Here's a site listing free photo editors. I don't know about all of those listed here, but some use cookies. Serif, for example, promises to use the data collected for the expressed purpose of delivering better focused web content. That should be interesting. .BB

BB I don't understand it. I am using the " insert my own photo " button, but I've looked all over and can't find anything to make it smaller? I need to change the icon photo on the left below my name It just shows the side of the picture and its huge!!! Its supposed to be a pic of my babies. Today is their Birth Day, 2 years old. I don't understand the computer lingo. Can you just tell me which button to push? and where it is? I seem to have a hard time understanding how the photo deal works. Took me forever to learn from the guy who invented the picture place, lol. He made photobucket and it is free. He had easier ways to do it then by giving me his links and passwords. It was real new. I bet its way harder now? Really a nice guy He sure was glad when my brain finally clicked, lol, poor guy. Thanks for your time.........wth
