Wow, Gumball...

and it got me to researching. Found this article along the way. Had it not been for a little genetic adjustment, we would have been still jumping from tree to tree. Our earliest ancestor was not the tree shrew. Much cooler:
Colugo, our closest living relative

Thanks for your inspiration!

Two questions:
1. If we evolved from primates, why is there still those exact primates here, that we supposedly evolved from? Why didn't they evolve?

2.If we are indeed creatures of evolution, does anyone have any theories about what we, primates, mammals, will evolve into over the next 40 million, or 86 million years?

I got those numbers from Gumball's link, and Bad Boy's.

Just curious as to what we are evolving into...........

Niecy

Well, Niecy....

If we don't nail what's going on with us, we'll evolve into Morgellons Melons, just rolling around in the dirt over a few occasional other germs and insects, easily slipping around with our slime coating and occasionally sprouting human, arm-like red and blue extensions to grab some berry that dropped nearby and stuff it into our claw-like mouths.

Who's to say humans have not been genetically altered by extraterrestrials? Imagine that!

Niecy - it's either a group of stars or a bunch of Greek nymphs (7 heavenly sisters) that were the mothers of the gods!!!??
