Like do you buy real trees or do you go with fake ones. Thank God here in Hawaii we got the heavy rains that will wash this stuff away from my house and my grounds. We needed it, had not had hardly any rain since I got sick. Tomorrow is the big dental day, I hope he see the bad tooth and pulls it, it really is starting to hurt and there is a Morgie on the outside in my skin right by the tooth, can't say if it's the Morgie or the tooth that hurts. I am still pretty sick and really don't have the strenght to do much, can't bend over due to the tooth leaks.. I will shave real good tonight and put some DSP cream on me, thinking of putting on my head band also. Tried to get all the loose hairs off my face, did I tell you I am SCARED. Yeah I am. I would really appreciate your opinions on the above, thanks ahead of time, Aloha Unclear. PS I am telling the dentist this all started when he started to work on my teeth, which is mostly the truth.

Aloha Unclear, I hope that those rains in Hawaii do make a difference and that your environment is nice and fresh. It seems a shame that you are scared and in trouble in such a beautiful spot. I hope that you get on well at the dentist and that things start looking up for you. hannah

unclear I get the fake ones now, its so hard to clean up after the real trees. For living in NY its so much easier with the fake trees. Though every once in a while I get real one. Hope all goes well with the dentist, let us know how it goes.

Last year I had no tree because I was too exhausted to think about Christmas. I bought a lovely tiny glass tree with baubles and sat it on the mantlepiece. This year I am going to have the Nativity Scene with the manger and lots of little red tea lights with christmassy lanterns. Might go up in smoke!!! I like the cinnamon and spice Christmas spray. If I had children I would have the big real pine tree - because that's Christmas and the kids love that. Hannah x

The real Christmas Tree for me has always been the deal. There is a tree farm not far from my house I found 7 years ago and the owner actually has white hair and a grey beard and mustache JUST LIKE SANTA!!! The only negative creeping up on me is the lights, since I'm such a fanatical freakizoid when it comes to placement and I JUST DON'T HAVE THE PATIENCE. Okay, I'm calm now. (Not to mention that last Christmas the BOTTOM HALF OF THE WHITE LITTLE LIGHTS BLANKED OUT AND I HAD TO FR**KIN PULL THEM OUT AFTER PUTTING THE ORNAMENTS ON!!!!!) deep breath....okay, I'm okay now. Well,,,,,now that I'm totally paranoid about any critters coming into my house........I had seriously considered getting an artificial tree. They make some really beautiful ones and in a couple of years would pay for itself against what I pay for a real one. I'm still considering..........I'm not really worried about the bugs now. My bugs will kick their *** anyway. I have a grandbaby and I think I'll just have to continue my tradition to celebrate with her. I spend alot of time sitting with a glass of wine, beautiful Christmas music.............staring into the tree. It means so much to me and always has. It was one of the best memories of my childhood since there weren't many gifts or much happiness. Now I have all the happiness with my grandbabe and children and friends and I kinda want to keep that real tree around. I also want to make a statement to these creatures who will never win when up against the Spirit of Christmas. Kritts

Thanks everyone, I love a real tree but in the last few years it was dead by Christmas day, I will buy a real wreath for the door. I just not sure if I want to dig into the garage and get all the stuff out this year. Everything in my garden is dead. no one water them while I was so sick. I am going to tell the dentist that all this started when I had the dental work started most of that is true, so that is how I am going to handle that. The one tooth is killing me, it may come out tomorrow, I know that it is in the bone like a half moon so it will take some digging. YUCK. Kritters you made me laugh, keep it up, Love you guys a lot. Aloha Ellie

Ellie, I feel sad that you started this thread about real Christmas trees and then you decide, stoically that it's not important. Whatever you decide and if it's a wreath, you can get into it. I can do that too. But here's something.... do you have a gargle solution if hydrogen peroxide, salt, baking soda in pure water? swoosh it through your teeth............ focus on a positive thought that it will leave.............. spit xoxo Kritts

How does everyone feel about having family over at Christmas. I want to have a big family christmas because I feel so much better this year. But I've still got that thing where I make people itch. Any one else have this problem. Its not just to do with the house, because it happens if I visit anyone too, even if i have a treatment bath before I leave the house .When I was diagnosed with DOP a few weeks ago the consultant didn't stop scratching his face , as he told me it was all in my head . ![]() carla xx I hope the dentist appointment was ok Unclear xxxx
