Default how to make you own HEALTHY chocolate

well, what makes chocolate off limits to us is the sugar. there is caffine, but chocolate is also packed with antioxidants. we know that you can buy sugarfree chocolate with mallitol, but caqn make a person get diharrea if eat too much . so what would be good to sweeten chocolate? the answer is easy:stevia, a digestive aid and good candida diet recommended. 30x sweeter than sugar. linnysue showed me a good and inexpensive place to get it in conveinent form. check out sampler deals, can get the packets, tabs and liquid for like 29.99 dollars. here is the link: http;//www.nunaturals.com/specials/index%20241.html . here is a link for unsweetened bakers choclate: http://www.kingarthurflour.com/shop/...efault&id=1607 .here is a link for chocolate molds http://www.bakedeco.com/chocolate_molds.html you can buy unsweetened bakers chocolate into a double boiler, and melt put in the stevia ad sweeten to taste. can also stir in things like almonds, or dried blueberries, raisins and pecans for a fruity yummy bar. you can spread onto wax paper or use the molds i have linked. would it not also make a good gift for diabetics, or childeren as a healthy alternative? in moderation, would be okay to have somethig sweet to aid digestion. a double boiler can be made simply by having a smaller pot inside a larger pot with boiling water i it, you do not have to buy a fancy double boiler. Hey speaking of the Agave nectar, I just started making my own gingerale with spring seltzer and a syrup made with simmered and cooled agave nectar and fresh ginger.

glad you liked this post guys. agave nectar souds cool from a cactus right? ginger is good for us too, i love ginger. yes, i think dark chocolate is better has a higher level of antioxidants. i though you folks would like the candy molds, as would make nice goft for diabetics and children. the best part is stevia aids the digestive system. and it is not artificial. i also will add i like usweetened chocolate too. i also still drink coffee, unsweetened with nutmeg in it and love cardomon in it too (i am weird). some coffee houses use cardomon on their coffee drinks , and cardomon i think a good herb in moderation, as well as nutmeg. accudoc said cardomon good in fightig disease but would need some clarification on its use from him.another herb i like for some reason is allspice, although recommend it for meats kind of goes hand i hand with cinnamon and nutmeg . by the way, cumin an herb i have recommended for disease as cheap effective blends quite nicely into v8 or tomato juice. i have a papaya, and think going to munch on some seeds. please folks post any candy ideas we can use stevia for, ad recipies in here as well. hey you know unsweetened cocoa could make lovely hot chocolate with it. try to get your sugar from fruits, like papaya (for the enzymes) eating lemons ad limes and salting them is something i do, or you could eat them with stevia. i have wodered about ruby red grapefruit. (LC). here is somethig special just for you, lindalua raw cacao site with all kinds of these raw delightful goodies. http://www.rawcacao.com/ . there is also a link for othercool stuff called natural zing , all kinds of neat, natural stuff. here is the link http://www.naturalzing.com/ like eco friendly clothing and organic food wow glad saved this site. check it out will be second link on the homepage.when you see how expensive dried goji berries are, why in past put up a link for the plants.gee, i am warm and fuzzy i just love all you guys!

Hi LadyC,

I'm still experimenting and winging it, but it all tastes great. I'm using regular seltzer right now since I didn't think to get the good stuff that states on the bottle where it came from. Eventually I may get a carbonator thingie if I can find one, that puts the bubbles in. then I can use my cheap boiled and filtered water.

I just make a syrup of fresh ginger pieces cooked in water with either agave nectar or honey (which is so good as an antibacterial agent as well). Bring to boil then simmer, put in a jar and pour into glass as desired, then add the water (I also add lemon or lime).

doctor it up however you want, but the ginger flavor is AWESOME!!!!

Cheers!
xoxo

lately bee going to a german market near my home because they hand make their meats and bread fresh baked and seems like all is yummy not messed with. i think they should actually put a hazordous waste sign out in fron of walmart's food section, lol. somy orgainic produce is delivered and i fet fresh thin sliced homemade deli meats from them. i did do a kinda bad thing found out eat sugar so seldom did buy a 85 percent cocoa imported dark chocolate bar from store, can eat without herxing too bad a piece because of diminished sugar content. but these guys make great salami it is yummy none of their food greasy. pretty good, (LC).

Hi krits,

love your posts and your recipes. just wanted to add if someone has diabetes or is having problem with candida, please use stevia or aguava as honey feeds candida and raises blood sugar levels otherwise, honey would be a great choice.

Just a thought to offer.

Stay blessed,
gator
