| Dear Mr xxx, Thank you for taking the time to contact my office. I appreciate hearing from you and the opportunity to respond. I am full aware of the issues and hardships that sufferers of Morgellons Disease must face. My staff and I have been in contact with several individuals suffering from Morgellons as well as advocates for the disease, and I believe that we have a firm understanding of the state of affairs between the Morgellons Research Foundation and the Centers for Disease Control And Prevention(CDC). We have contacted the CDC regarding the complaints of Moregellons patients, and have been assured that the appropriate prescribed set of protocols have been followed to investigate their petitions. We will continue to be in touch with them periodically to monitor their efforts and progress. Additionally, I will continue to maintain and open door policy by which the comments, concerns, and inquirers from the Morgellons community may be vetted. Thank you again for contacting me. For more information about issues that are important to you, please visit my webpage at isakson.sensate.gov. Sincerely, Johnny Isakson |

| Hilly, That senator from GA must be special. Many of them will not reply to anyone but constituents in their state, much less to someone from another country. I am wowed too that his secretary would get back to you so quickly. Stunned in fact. If only more representatives (house and senate both) would remember that they need to listen and to respond to the govererned who elected them. Nice that he gave such a good impression to someone from the UK as well. best, tcm

| The fast reply to which I referred in my above post was the one made to Hilly who must have emailed the office when she read your post. I guess if you do not elect them and they come from another country they pay more attention more quickly to a person. How ironic is that? best to you 10meters (and congrats on getting any reply at all, especially as it is an encouraging letter--let's hope they were investigating during that time to find out more about morgellons and that is what delayed response to you) tcm
