Default Question about Types of Docotors

HI i got a response from a DO doctor in MI

I copied the info from the net on what a DO specializes in

D.O.: Abbreviation for Doctor of Osteopathy, an osteopathic physician.

Osteopathy is a system of therapy founded in the 19th century based on the concept that the body can formulate its own remedies against diseases when the body is in a normal structural relationship, has a normal environment and enjoys good nutrition.

-------------------------------------------

That is fine and dandy but can someone tell me if this type of doctor can provide Scripts for Medications
I am not going to drive 400 miles to have someone tell me that they cannot provide lyme mediations or Morg for that matter
and tell me that my own body can heal it on its own(welll if that was the case i would still not have it)

the name of doc is robert dejonge (DO) who is a lyme literate doc or is on the list anyway
If anyone knows about this doc or can provide more info please do

Thanks

C.

Silver,

What state do you live in? Maybe we can help you google for someone who is closer -- unless this guy is a Morgs specialist, which would definitely make it worth the trip. From the experience of a few of us, here are some things to look for in finding doctors who are more apt to believe us -- and be willing to treat us. Feel free to add to this list, anyone ...

• Naturapaths, Homeopaths
• Osteopaths
• Chronic disease docs who treat other "out there" illnesses like Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia

K gave a link a while ago that had the listings of Naturapath Docs all across the country. (That's how she found her doc in NM.) It should have a few in your state. K, do you still have that link?

No i am affraid that the doc is only a lyme literate candidate, but i sent my letter with the links to my belived parasite, and morgs photos........and have not been rejected so thats a start at least.....

The only Morg docotor i found who is close was Dr. Ledtke from MI as well but was rejected for being out of state....(list was orginally from Bubba) she only provided me with 3 docs this one and 2 below which are very far to travel....

The other 2 morg docs were in like PA and i think CA way too far for me....

I have not recieved any response from teh lyme literate docs in MN or Foundalic, WI(yeah my backyard)

prob cause i mentioned morg was involved and they got scared....

but hey ill take a lyme literate DOC over most of the quacks i have been too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If i can get treatment for lyme thats 1/2 the battle right there

But if anyone knows any other morg docs close to WI feel free to drop a line...........
But i think the only person in WI that knows about this is me!

Thanks
C.

Hopefully someone has gotten back to you by now. But a D.O is a full licensed Dr. that can write prescriptions as readily as readily as an MD. Unlike a nurse practitioner or physician assistant, this individual practices independent of supervision.

Hope this helps.
