Just an FYI: My mom just got an email from someone named be-healthy-forever promising yet another miracle cure for Morgellons -- for $120 no less. The only way my mom could have gotten this email is from someone taking it from this site. She joined a while ago so she could better support me.

This makes me so angry! Can we stop whoever is doing this?

Mary I am sorry to hear of this. We try to keep out the spam as much as we can. Could you forward me the email if possible. Did they mention a site or name?

Sad thing about all this is, even if someone did have a very good product. The way they market a product can do major damage to its reputation. But some people are so money hungry they don't care how they push a product on the public.

Hey Franky ... please don't think I think it's your fault. As the moderator of this site, you've gone to great lengths to make it clear that sending solicitations to members is FORBIDDEN. You are ALWAYS looking out for us, and we so appreaciate that.


I'm just angry that someone violated your request. I'll try to get the email from my mom's computer but in the meantime, the url is something like: be-healthy-forever.com. Didn't mean to dump this on you ... just hated the way the email plays on people's fear and desperation by offering a "cure" at a hefty price. So so sorry if I made you feel bad ... I just want to stifle the culprit!

Mary the best thing you can do or for that matter anybody else is to set your email to private. If you set your email to private, nobody can get your email and sent you anything at all.

Great idea, Franky -- I'll tell my mom. My email is set on private but she didn't think to do the same ... which is why she got the solicitation and I didn't. Thanks again.
