Default Neem Oil

Just wondering if anyone on here has tried neem oil. It's a natural insecticide used in India. The fruit of the neem tree is pressed and the oil is used as an organic insect repellent.

It smells really bad, but it's pretty cheap and it helps a lot of people with different things. I got some off amazon and put some in my bath water and it didn't cure my problems but it did soothe my skin and tone down some of the itchiness.

I have found the best to be the cheapest, pinesol disenfectant and now oxypine has come out just last week and it is the best and just in the nick of time for us.Neem is good stuff but not as good as pine oil and the natural soaps in the new product.

Neem works to get things out of the skin. The creatures have to eat it, I think, for it to work, so spraying it does nothing. Theraneem lotion works better than any other neem product I've tried. It keeps them from crawling back in your skin as you remove them. I notice if I remove them by using things like mineral oil they crawl back in my wrists fom my hands creating tracks in my skin.

It's valuable to have. Lavender oil works okay, too. It won't remove them but will kill some on top of skin.

Scadggr,

Can you elaborate in what way you use pinesol? Is it for cleaning household surfaces, yourself or both?

Thanks, CSI

Default pine sol

I use pinesol (or the generic Target brand, which works as well and also contains the 8.75% pine oil) for all my cleaning and in my laundry as well. I also dilute some in a spray bottle and spray it around my basement walls. It's really been great at keeping the dust out of my car, even though the "lint" issue is much reduced since I have been improving.

Good stuff!

Scab, is the Oxy Pine made by the same company? I haven't seen it on the shelves here yet.
