Default chinese medicine and acupucture

Hello , I have not posted in months. Why... because I am a 100% better! Please if any one out there is suffering like I was and can't stand the sleepless nights and the dam stinging crawling bites, not to mention the dancing fibers comming out of your skin. Find your self a good chinese medicine doctor. Chinese medicine has been around for 2000 years for a reason. For morgellons it works with out a doubt for me. The combination of accupucture and the chinese meds is even better. Direct Moxa is also a wonderful treatment. Be careful who you choose, some of these guys are ciropractors just cashing in to make money. You want a full fledge chinese medicine doctor, one who uses theraputic auroma therapy would be realy wonderful. This is not an overnight cure thing, but my opinion is that I am cured. I have a little problem with my ears now, from being bitten so much inside them but that is the extent of my problems. I am free at last.
If you would like more info you can email me at foxblvd@att.net
Thanks , Janice

Hi janice,

Thanks for your post! tcm knows a lot about this subject too.

I had one session of acupuncture a few years ago and I believe it really helped.

I use reflexology on myself and my daughter. I found a chiropractor in my home town that practices www.tbmseminars.com and I am very thankful for his help! I get lymphatic massages every three weeks and they have helped me too. Food is also a key ingredient to better health.

I am 100% better too. Glad you are still posting to share what has helped you.

In the white light,
~jonsi

Default chinese medicine---h*lls yeah!

i've been getting treated for this by a acupuncturist and chinese herbalist--a woman i've seen off and on for 20 years. it's been almost a year since the morgellons symptoms started, and while i don't think i'm cured, i feel a good 80% better.

my doctor has me on many different supplements (not all chinese---lots of homepathic and/or detoxing "meds") and she changes and rotates them regularly.

there are three main things that i do and swear by--see below for details:

-chinese medicinal teas (which taste awful but are very powerful)

--NAET with korean hand pellets (a form of non-needle acupuncture)

--green tea as a topical treatment (8 bags of organic green tea in a 3 quart pot, brewed up, cooled down and then splashed over my body after the shower--i blowdry it on before dressing

*****
notes:

for the skin symptoms, the chinese herbal teas rule!

i'm not receiving acupuncture by my doctor--she was concerned about having me come into her office, so we do phone consultations. however, she is having me do korean hand acupuncture on myself at home--3 times/week. this was KEY! for me. it is not done with needles, but rather small pellets that are glued to tiny round band-aid-like stickies. the treatments themselves are based on something called NAET- Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Techniques.

i couldn't get the crawling and biting to stop---despite my skin looking better overall. but within two NAET treatments, I could finally put clothes on without the painful pricking sensation. the crawling is now minimal to none --with minor flare-ups during full moons, or if i'm herxing to some new supplement.

jonsi and i have talked about this---she had a kind of similar desensitization technique done on her--TBM---check out her posts on this---they are fascinating and her treatment suggestions are spot-on (hi jonsi!)

Update on: A Victory Report, Kenesiology "Total Body Modification"

one thing i've found interesting--- as my healing progressed, i became lazier about the house hygiene. granted, i was never great at this ---but for many months i sprayed Eco-Vie and Kleen Green 4 times a week. i have not sprayed in a few months, and yet i'm doing better than ever.

please know that i'm not advocating giving up on the cleaning end---but just noting that as my health became better, this piece became somewhat less crucial for me.

this feels kinda rambly, i just wanted to throw in another affirmative vote for chinese medicine!

love and healing to you all,
kelley

Thank you kelly, I went to that thread and it brings up the history of what I've been through and what I found to help me get through this nightmare. I forgot how sick I was!

(I'm not a clean freak either)

itwl,

Hi "Janice"! I will NEVER give up hope that a safe, affordable cure is possible for us. We deserve that!
I think Slow Down is likely NOT a viable option for a Morgellon's victim suffering, without help, for 30 years, that can't work.
Nor for a mother whose children are screaming at night, from pain and she doesn't know how to help them...
Please stop by the Treatment Forum, which is also the proper place for any VERY aggressive sales agendas:

With eg's partial quote of my post she is insinuating I am trying to sell something because today Janice has posted multiple times on this forum about her experiences with essential oils and nebulizers and, as seen here in August 2009, she discusses tcm treatment. I cannot imagine why Janice has posted the same exact post about the essential oils and nebulizers all over the forum. Excessive to say the least as are all the answering posts from eg to everyone of Janice's posts.

When I replied to one of Janice's post today to ask how her acupuncturist had worked out I was unaware she had added her post about the nebulizers and essential oils to so many threads. I have to hope that she is simply upset by some of the more extreme suggestions for Morgellons treatments which have sometimes appeared on the forum. It is suspicious when someone does this though. Hopefully she will explain herself more fully in a future post. I am not happy when people post on the forum simply to sell products as I have already discussed.

If she posts her acupuncturist's formula so people can make their own mixes with essential oils which are available in health food stores and online, then I would say she is just upset by some sometimes dangerous suggestions which have been posted on the forum and sincerely wants to help others here. If I hear any murmurs from her of selling the essential oils and nebulizers I, too, will be upset and disappointed, since I did help her locate an acupuncturist in her area (which is why I asked her about the acupuncturist as I had not heard if she had gone and had some success with this type of treatment). At any rate I am not connected to Janice in anyway except to have suggested a way for her to find an acupuncturist.

I truly hope that she is trying to contribute to MDR without any hope of gain for herself or her acupuncturist. It is always troubling to have posts which claim cures, no matter who posts them. So far cures have not happened for us, herbal or pharmaceutical:

I will be interested to learn about your nebulizer formula. Thanks for coming back on and sharing the information you have learned and used successfully.

Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine- ATOM Intern Clinic

Treatment is from students and usually costs less than acupuncturists charge after graduation. It is sometimes also possible to receive treatment from faculty who are the ones who supervise the students.

Here is one person's testimonial page about her TCM practice. I notice there is an RN on this list who also seems to practice alternative therapies. Also a psychologist and a chiropractor are quoted, so at least some professionals appear to think well of her:

Testimonials - Benefits of Acupuncture - Broward Asian Healing Arts Center - Ft Lauderdale, Florida

Another way to find alternative practitioners is to talk to people who work in local health food stores. Sometimes they have gone to a good practitioner themselves or have heard some good feedback from customers about someone.

Good luck in your search. I hope you find someone who can work well with you.

best, tcm
