It is more and more recognized that parasites are being a main cause of failing health.

Neither cancer nor HIV can exist without parasites and that if the parasites are eliminated, the disease will disappear.

Parasites are also killed by colloidal silver, as they have an egg-stage in their reproductive cycle, which is one celled and therefore killed in six minutes or less. 
As single cell called 'bacteria' use an enzyme for their oxygen metabolism, the presence of colloidal silver influences the enzyme in a way that it causes the bacteria organism to suffocate. Any and all bacteria are therefore killed within 5-minutes, without causing effect on the surrounding tissue cells, even killing antibiotic resistant strains as well as all fungal infections.

To fight fungal infection, one must understand fungal function. A fungus is a series of single cells that have small tubes of the material from which the cell is made, which stretches between the cell walls. A fungus will still exhibit that characteristic of any one-celled bacterium, which is almost completely and permanently disabled by the presence of colloidal silver in the body.

With viruses it is similar: A single virus will invade a living cell within the body tissue. Then will take over the nucleus of the cell and alter its production and reproduction mechanism to replicate the virus instead of the enzyme, hormone, or other chemical that the body would normally have produced for itself within that cell. The multiplied viruses will be released from that cell into the blood stream.

Parasites continue to attack eating other body cells of the host, but this is not causing the symptoms alone, it is the dumping of their waste into the tissues and blood stream. Part of the response of the living cells invaded by the virus is that they reverse back to a more primitive form of cell structure and chemistry. The oxygen metabolizing enzyme, or chemical lung in the cell wall, reverses as well.

When there is an electrically charged ion or micro-particle of colloidal silver, it only influences disease-causing pathogens and suffocates them, simply by their presence. This more primitive form of enzyme is vulnerable to the effects of colloidal silver. The catalyst effect of the colloidal silver simply being in close proximity to the enzyme of this cell results in permanent disability. It can't function to bring oxygen into the cell and so the virus-producing cell dies by suffocation.

PARASITIC INFECTIONS

Some diseases are caused by tiny worm-like animals, which burrow through a particular organ, or in some cases throughout the whole body. In every case they reproduce by laying eggs. These eggs have the same characteristic type of oxygen metabolizing enzyme as the single-celled bacterium. The eggs cannot hatch if there is sufficient Colloidal Silver in the surrounding tissues. They are killed immediately and eliminated by the body. The first few of these tiny worms you may be unfortunate enough to get, will be unable to reproduce and so will die in a short period of time. Sufficient Colloidal Silver will keep parasites under control.

FUNGUS

Fungus is like a series of single-cells having a tiny tube of material from the cell wall stretched between the cells. Whether more linear in their spread and expand mode, or alternatively more like a fabric in their reproductive mode, fungus will still exhibit that characteristic of all one-celled bacterium, the same type of enzyme-chemical-lung that is immediately permanently disabled by the presence of Colloidal Silver. Like other bacteria, Fungus is killed within six minutes or less upon contact within the body.

Parasites are being recognized more and more as a cause of failing health. However, tests have shown that mosquito larva are effectively killed by colloidal silver. It should be remembered that to rid oneself of parasites by killing the eggs or larvae means that one must continue the treatment until all of the adults die, probably of old age. More research is needed. But if the AIDS or Cancer and other conditions can be effectively treated with colloidal silver, then any effects on parasites is a free benefit.

Colloidal Silver has been shown to kill certain bacteria, fungus and viruses and even tumor cells. My grandbabe has a lesion on her sweet little tush. I just found out today and my son didn't want to hear ANYTHING. Can't blame him.

I wonder how any silver or other treatments would affect babies.

Hi Tara,

Do you take colloidal silver? I've never posted before on this topic and it seems like there are those who totally believe in it, and then there are the skeptics. I am neutral!

I've tried nutra soveirgn silver but didn't notice any affects (positive or negative, no change in energy level, no change in lesions, etc...) I even applied it topically.

I have a vegan friend who takes it for strep throat and other infections and she swears by it and that is why I tried it. She makes it herself.

So my questions are:
~How often do you take it and how much? It sounds like one would have to use it long enough for the parasites life cycle to run full cycle in order to kill all of the eggs.

~How do you know when it might be most affective? I don't want to turn blue...

Since Morgellons appears to be fungal, parasitical, viral and bacterial how can we tell what stage we are in? Or, are we in all stages in different parts of our body all at one time? Kind of like the game "Twister"!?!

Yes, jonsi I do take colloidal silver. I have tried a variety of brands although right now I am taking 2 teaspoons MESOSILVER daily. [http://www.purestcolloids.com/mesosilver.htm].

It is rather expensive but it is concentrated and it is a true colloid and is not ionic like the one you tried – sovereign silver. From what I have read the colloids like MESOSILVER are the TRUE colloidal silver. I buy a gallon at a time as it is much cheaper but a little goes a long way.

Recently my husband came home with a mystery virus and he turned bright red like a tomato. I googled it and came up with scarlet fever … as one of the symptoms looks like a very bad sunburn. Well I mega-dosed him with 4 tablespoons 3x a day and within 3 days his high fever and nightsweats had abated. However no one else in the family came down his mystery virus and that I attribute to MESOSILVER.

I use it for everything and cannot recommend it highly enough as it is like having a second immune system. I have been using it for five years now and I am not mama smurf – I am not blue. I used to be one that caught every flu and pneumonia going but I have not caught anything for years. I recently caught Montezuma’s revenge after a trip to a third world country and with the CS it was resolved in on day.

As for parasites I read that most have a 30 day cycle so you would have to take a couple of teaspoons for at least that long. Collodial silver will kill all fungus, virus, bacteria and parasites so you don’t really have to wonder wonder what disease you have as it is equal opportunity as it kills ‘em all but not the beneficial bacteria. However a good probtic will take care of that if you are concerned about good bacteria die off – just take it a couple of hours apart. I believe that prevention is worth a pound of cure which is why I take a small amount of silver daily.

Kritters, I believe that a small amount of silver is not toxic to anyone as long as it is used judiciously - although the dose for small babies would have to be adjusted according to bodyweight. The only side affect from too much silver is turning blue – and that is cosmetic only. I myself would rather be blue than dead but that is a personal opinion only. Although I would think that you would have to drink gallons of MESOSILVER daily and cost alone would preclude that.

Dosage
The dosage for Mesosilver is typically between one teaspoon (5mL) and one tablespoon (15mL) daily to help maintain health. One to four tablespoons taken 4 times per day may be taken to help fortify the immune system when needed. Actual dosage will vary based on individual needs. Colloidal Silver Toxicity Study
Purest Colloids, Inc. hired one of the leading independent laboratories in the U.S. to do a toxicology study on our colloidal silver product, Mesosilver. Colloidal Silver and Intestinal Flora (The “Good Guys”)

Former teacher of physics and chemistry, Howard Mitchell of Virginia, conducted a series of experiments with colloidal silver. He found that Colloidal Silver has no effect on acidophilus, the "good bacteria" found in the stomach.

Mitchell used concentrations forty times higher than what might be expected to destroy other forms of bacteria. It revealed that even in large dosages, the intestinal flora will flourish. There is a debate raging which is better – Ionic or colloidal. Lots of people have benefited from both. Ionic is what you get when you home brew it, whereas a colloid such as MESOSILVER is 80% particles 10% - home brew is the other way around 10% particles 90% ionic. Ok the useful part of the colloid is the particle. I recall reading on curezone where some guy tried to cure his gonorrhea by drinking gallons of home brew and failed – probably because there was not particles in his home brew. Or it may be that ionic helps you when you are not ill but works more as a preventative.

But if you are seriously ill then you want a hitter – a colloid that has as many particles as possible and for that I find MESOSILVER to be the best.

Here is a list of colloids. I use the SILVERDYNE as a water purifier – I live in a tropical country and the water that comes from the tap is re-generated sewage water. They say it is ok to drink but I have my doubts. I would think that drinking water such as that will result in a lot of kidney problems over time. I buy SILVERDYNE directly from The HESS corporation. I also own a homebrew generator and I use the product from that to disinfect my house as I can make gallons of ionic for pennies. I also bought some sovereign silver – silver hydrosol - and found it next to useless but now that you have it I do not see any harm in adding a few drops to your baby’s juice – it certainly won’t hurt her and may even help the immune system.

When is Colloidal Silver Not a Colloid?

When it contains mostly ionic silver!

When discussing metal colloids, such as colloidal silver, the term colloid means particles in suspension, which for colloidal silver, means silver nanoparticles. Most products advertised as "colloidal silver" contain mostly silver ions, not silver particles, so technically they are silver solutions, not silver colloids. Laboratory measurements conducted at the Colloidal Science Laboratory of dozens of commercially available products have found that the vast majority are typically 90% ionic silver and only 10% silver particles, with some samples being 95 to 99 percent ionic!

Produced by electrolysis

The products that are produced by electrolysis of various descriptions which can be AC, DC, high voltage, low voltage or whatever, are actually ionic silver solutions, not colloids. Colloidal Silver Generators sold to home hobbyists all operate by electrolysis and therefore produce ionic silver solutions. Yet, the producers without exception have labeled the products produced by electrolysis as Colloidal Silver. Clearly these product labels are deceptive and misleading because it is not reasonable to call such a product a "colloid" when the vast majority of the silver content is ionic and typically only 1 to 10 percent of the silver content is actually suspended particles (colloidal).
