Internet information is no different from any other information.
Go to a library anywhere or pick up a variety of newspapers and you need to put your thinking cap on.
You need to read analytically and critically and weigh up for yourself how reliable something is.
What is the source for example? Do research methods sound robust? Is there some hidden agenda going on?
The Internet is a wonderful source of valuable information but has to be used carefully. It's not all bad and it's certainly not all good either.
