Default poor little itchy doggie

Hey y'all,

My son had to take Rudy to the vet today because of his incessant itching. His skin is like leather. Quackdoc said he has some sort of fungus he doesn't know anything about (what else is freaking new?) and gave him STEROIDS. I left some ecovie in a spray bottle for him.

I know I've read so many posts about pets and what to do, but can't store everything, ya know?

Any help here?

thanks,
Kritts

My Hounds not right either Kritts . Skinny is nt the word . His has gotten so bony. oh yeah it was you who i talked to lol
You told me to get him some heavyduty wormers and put H202 in his waterbowl.
I m going to do that . Rudy sounds like its more in his skin so maybe try soaking him with ecovie and that dish soap you guys rave about.
Hilly and pat have done well with their animals . I m sure they answer this when they read it .
love carlaxxxx

Hey LC,

You know, I had lesions on my scalp and have been using that Selsun Blue medicated that you or someone else suggested and by golly I think it's doing a bang up job.

Maybe I'll tell them to give them selsun blue doggie baths and when dry a few hours later, spray with ecovie.

what would we do without this place, huh?
xoxo

Just like us, its tough to know what works with the dogs. Be careful with the shampoos, make sure to rinse them off well so that if the dog licks themselves they don't get sick. I'd definitely spray with eco vie after the bath! Also Carla, watch the h202 in the water as h202 is used to make dogs when they eat something wrong!

I'd give a course (3-5 days in a row) or 2 courses, a few weeks apart of fenbendazole, aka panacur, aka safeguard http://www.horse.com/products/product.aspx?sku=DBA10. Its a dog wormer that many people take to help them resolve morgs symptoms. I've taken it myself and given it to all my dogs! I also may consider some ivermectin a different type of wormer for dogs/goats/horses/cows/humans. I think some good quality colloidal silver would be a good addition to the water.

good luck!

k

Redibrooks said almost all of it, except that ecochem.com has a spray for the dogs and cats you spray it on two times a day, we found our source were the dogs go potty and there was a plant there must of had the morgellons on it, we sprayed that with the broad spectrum spray from eco vie, now even though the dogs have lesions, they are going away, you have to clean the area with eco vie real good and then we put the DSP cream on them, we use Heartguard for heartworm it has the ivermectin in it, the panacur is another thing that is very important, then of course we add silver to there water and Oxyfresh oral hygenene, and use Human grade DE on them, there are natural ways also that you can research using herbs like lavender oil. We have to give benadryl every now and then to the one dog that has severe allergies anyway, 25 mg per 50 pound dog, so infant kind for smaller dogs. Also we use revoulution for the fleas and ticks and mites. You have to get deep in there ears that is were our dogs got the infection first, we went round and round with antibioctics and no go, they all were the cone collars now. Okay got to take care of the dogs, also the Oxyfresh sells a natural calmer, I do sell the stuff but now here to sell, just to help, do go to the website and read up on the beef jerkey and the wafers, just like us we got to keep there immune system healthy, all of ours has gain the weight back. It's a daily fight just like us. Good luck, Unclear
