Is this website being sabotaged?

In the past few days I have been telling people about Morgellons and asking them to check your excellent website forum. The website address I gave them was morgellons-disease-research.com. To my great surprise, I plugged this website address into my computer today, and I was taken to what appears to be a very different and confusing website. This means everyone I talked to will now think I'm nutty to have sent them to something with such annoyingly disorganized and unclear info. They'll also think the fake website represents what an "intelligent" discussion of Morgellons looks like. This appears to be a deliberate misinformation website.

I should add that I normally find your website by typing in the words "Morgellons" and "forums" into Google. When I do that, one of the first websites listed is this one.

Hi Kira,

I think the page they are getting is the personal site of FrankByMe, the guy who oversees this forum. I think that is his "site" and then he added this forum for ppl to exchange info.

It is confusing. Also, personally I do not agree w the typical M definition found there or at many sites. I would never consider this "unexplained dermopathy" any sooner than I would consider diabetes a "numb foot disorder" or high blood pressure a "reddened face disorder." The skin lesions are only one small symptom of M, but in no way is the actual disorder. Some ppl never even get the lesions.

Yes, if you type in morgellons-disease-research.com, you will find
Morgellons - Morgellons Disease

If you look at the articles, they are all by, "frankybme" who is also the owner of this website.

If you look at the right side of the home page, you'll see, "morgellons forum and support" which if you click below will bring you here.

Why that is........I don't know, but I believe it is another site owned by Franky that can lead here. I believe the articles (posts) and information are taken directly from this website.

But if you give them http://www.morgellons-disease-resear...message-board/ that'll probably take them here.

KiraErikson there is no trickery here, many sites have what they call the front end and then supply a forum for discussion. Its actually standard practice, most forums have this in one form or a other.

Now let me ask you, what exactly to dislike about it, why do you think its "deliberate misinformation", its various articles on morgellons with different views on it. If you think something there is particularly offensive to you, let me know, I will look into it. They are simple articles, some by me and a couple from others. That is why there is a forum, for more in depth conversation.

The simple articles are there to help get the forum found, many people have found the forum this way. Anyway no big deal, I hope this explains it a bit to you.

Although, it doesn't explain it to me.Why do you need other 'forums' to lead to this one? I noticed that you have entered our posts on other forums, or websites, such ashttp://www.zimbio.com/member/frankybme in the form of 'articles'. I pm'd you many months ago to ask why, and you blew me off, and not very nicely. In fact, when I googled, "frankybme" I came across many other sites....

I'd like to know why you enter our posts as articles on other forums as your 'articles' when they are not.

I'd like to know how they drive attention to this forum. I'm sure you have all good intentions, and this forum serves many, which is the most important thing. I don't, however understand why you have to have other 'sub' forums you think will lead to this one.

Just curious.

I thought I explained to you, but let me explain this the most understandable way. Since you like to Google my name, Google this as well: SEO, RSS feeds

Most forums that are the front page of Google do all this and much more, its one of the ways to get a site high on Google. Why is that necessary, very simple, so all the good people who need to find a site like this do.

Also I NEVER claimed those are my "posts" its just the way those sites displays this sites feeds, they say its from me, Because I am the owner of the site.

I hope this explains oK. There is not a thing malicious at all going on, its just a simple fact of making a site available to the most people possible.

Bottom line its all about SEO, which by the way is a full time job for many. I spend hours week on just keeping the site viable to the search engines, so people can find us, who need too.

The fact that you responded so sarcastically tells me I hit a nerve. Sorry about that. You responded the same way when I pm'd you and also inadvertently sent a message everyone else could read, which you deleted immediately.

All I want to know is why there is a need to have different forums where our posts become your 'articles'...I notice that Morgellons is not the only subject of articles on any 'frankybme' site.

BTW, I was 'told' to google 'frankybme'. I don't look for this stuff.

This site is bringing a lot of help to people, which is why it serves a "win-win" purpose.

Kritters wasn't trying to be so "sarcastically" And no you didn't hit a nerve, but you know what, I work so hard behind the scenes to keep this site afloat, sometimes it gets unnerving.

Just for the record, just because you don't see me on the site, doesn't mean I am not doing sometime for this site.
