I Keep Getting An Error Message Using this Site

I know you're busy, I've tried to notify you of my problem here. I've been having issues for a little more than a week now with logging into and staying on this site. And, when I do get on - I have about 5 minutes access before I'm closed out. And your site will not allow me to log back in until the next day. I have tried using a 3rd party ISP service to help me get on here but invariably as soon as I log in - my 5 minute time limit starts, and I am once again denied access for a few hours or until the next day.

I can't read the other's posts on my computer, and when I post, I have to have my input prepared in advance - ready to be cut and pasted from a word processor, I don't have enough time to even compose a post or PM - it's hard to work and share information within the 5 minute time limit. It's very frustrating - as if, I'm being censored, somehow?

There is nothing wrong with my computer nor connections. I was wondering if you could look on your end to see what the problem might be, or have you heard of this happening before?

I keep getting the following error:

URL Error (0): An error has occured while trying to browse through the proxy.
Failed to connect to the specified host. Possible problems are that the server was not found, the connection timed out, or the connection refused by the host. Try connecting again and check if the address is correct.

I have the same problem, but it's not a distinct pattern. I think it has to do with how much activity the site is getting at the time. Yesterday I never did get on, and today it wasn't until tonight.
It's working good right now, but that could change at any moment.
I think it might be related to Internet Explorer. Do you have FireFox? Might work better. I'm too lazy or brain dead or too old to think that much to try it. but it's worth a try.
I think Kritters has trouble from time to time also.
It's a pain in the butt.

All you need to do is tick the 'remember me' box,next to your name. Before you click log in.
It will keep you logged in .

I can't use the smileys (I'm in smiley withdrawal. It's very painful for me) sad, crying smiley (frowny) Carls said Firefox would be the answer probably. I don't understand why IE doesn't cut it. I also can't change font for effect.

I don't have to log in - I set it up that way. It's that IE can't even connect with the site. And once I'm here, if I try to navigate (during the times I'm having trouble), I get the same IE message that it can't connect. So I keep going back and trying it again, over and over, throughout the day. I think everyone is asleep in the UK right now, that's why it's working!!!
It is not related to the inner workings of the site, but Internet Explorer connections.
