really---just a question about troubleshooting links

Hello---

Each time I try to click on links posted in responses, another window pops up and takes me to the MDR homepage. I use Safari as a browser, but also tried Firefox with the same result.

Any suggestions?

I tried to post a link to an example, but got an error message--I guess you can't post links until after you've posted 15 times!

I can describe how to get there!

Go to the Morgellons Treatment
then to Non-Reccommended Products
then to "Nutrasilver plug - Pictures Tell the Story"

Under linnysue's post is a link to another page on the MDR Boards.
When I click on that link, it shoots me back to the home page of the boards. This happens with all MDR board links in MDR posts, but not with MDR Board posts with links that are to outside sources.

Took me awhile to reply---I forgot to subscribe to the post and didn't realize you'd responded!

I keep posting about this hoping to get an opinion from you, but nothing so far.
It took me 3 hours to get onto this site this morning. Others are having the same problem. I'm not saying that it is anything you can do anything about, I'm just wondering what you think.

kelly what happened was, I was using a free forum years ago when nobody mentioned or cared about morgellons in the media. So it broke down a lot but it was free and I had more time to fix it. We had much fewer people looking for help back then.

To make a long story short, it got too busy and started to take up to much of my time. So I bought a more professional and stable software, this one. Only thing is, in the transfer of posts and links, some became unworkable. It not you, its just some don't work.

Ps: Yes you need to have 15 posts to include links. I had to implement that because, as we became bigger and more popular, people started to come here to just sell products, promote their websites and tons of spam from china. As the old saying goes, the few spoil it for the rest.

Well I need more info than this SADsack. Can you please tell me what exactly is happening. What error messages are you getting?

I'm sorry - I had described it several times in different places. I'll do it again.
For hours every day, sometimes all day, I am unable to connect with your website. Each time I click the link, I get an error message from Internet Explorer saying "unable to connect", or words to that effect. Sometimes I will get on, then after awhile can't navigate from one screen to another - I'll get the same error message.
I think it is a problem with Internet Explorer, although it does not happen with other sites. Several other people have been saying the same thing on this board over the past 3 or 4 weeks.
I'm beginning to think it might have to do with how much traffic this site is getting, as there are certain times of day when it is more apt to happen.

ps - it just happened again when I tried to submit this post. It said "Internet Explorer is unable to display the webpage". I hit the "back" button, get the old screen again, wait, and try again. It's taken 2 hours to submit messages. It's now 10:22 pm EST, and I will keep trying to submit this till it goes through.
