Carla Is Back!!

Sorry if i am going to disapoint a few of you but Carla is back.
My main issues for avoiding MDR are as follows.

1. Doctors List. I couldn't stand giving out the useless outdated Doctors list.
From here now theres is no Doctors List.
It was fabricated several years ago from hearsay by desperate people.

If you find a doctor that says you have Morgellons and is willing to treat it ask his permission to post it on MDR.
I will start a thread as soon as I get the first confirmation.I won't hold my breath though.

2. The second issue that made me want to avoid MDR was two people in dispute,who I care about. I believe both of them are genuine very long term morgellons sufferers and only want what is best for others, but lots of the shrills use them as weapons.
Its just that they don't agree on everything and I get torn between them.
They are TCM and Barak Obama.
If they can agree to disagree I will be happy to moderate MDR forever.
Lets pull together to get the forum Franky has always wanted. A real place we can just support each other and rise above the BS that takes over so many other sites.

Sky, I am not sure how you can lecture others here about good behavior, when you, yourself, have erased posts you made under your name. The first time you erased every post on your account at that time. The next time you erased most of your posts. You erased friends too, although added some as SK in another place. That's why you have so few readable posts under your account now when compared to those you actually wrote. How is that being adult or appropriate?

One of your adult posts below. Sounds like you are doing a little witch hunting of your own here today with Carla. Maybe your post also belongs on your proposed witch-hunt.com instead of on MDR? Thanks to the fact that Franky closed this particular thread your post is still extant. Carla, I am unsure about what you mean about BO and I disagreeing as being a cause for you not to act as a mod on MDR? Did you miss the exchange recently between BO other members here whose names begin with K? Hardly something I created. Pointing out when someone takes an undeserved swipe at me and quoting that swipe in context isn't a witch hunt.

It is referencing my statement.

And the chat comments made by Carla were more of the same: "unnecessary and pointless targeting of members by other members."

Now, you can get this all wound up again like last time, if you want to.

But if someone takes a swipe at me --especially when I haven't done anything to deserve it, I will stand up and say that I don't like it, and I will call it BULLYING when it looks like bullying to me.

The comments that Franky made recently were (along the lines of)-

if you don't agree with what someone posts, don't read it. People get banned from this site for nasty behavior, pure and simple.

This is how all this started last time, when the forum was almost shut down.

I will stand up for myself and I will stand up for anyone else that gets bullied on this site, if that is what it looks like to me.

And if any member wants to delete any posts that they have made in the past, that is their business and their option --if people weren't supposed to do that, they wouldn't have that edit option in their User editing options. And what business is it of yours what I do or don't do anyway, TC??

I thought this was a site for the research and understanding of a horrible and mysterious disease.For anyone other than the person paying the bills to determine the nature of this platform would only be self serving.Did Franky change the purpose of this site from his original intent.Are personality and social issues more important than discovering the cause of this hoorrible disease and what helps sufferers to not only stay alive but to be able to return to a much more normal existence?Is any individuals ego more important than that?I think not and for one I believe it is counterproductive to argue over something that isn't relative to destroying this lifeform and the ability to heal along with stopping the spread of a horrible disease.The suffering for so many is way too great for us to get lost in hypothetical social enigmas.What does a moderator do? Is it the role of a babysitter or simply a platform to be abusive to others that they don't agree with.I,for one don't need anyone to tell me how to think or what I need to think.However there are individuals that are members of this site that could help keep things in proper perspective,which is to provide support for sufferers that are often frightened,in terrible pain and can't decide whether to end it all or keep coming to MDR for some needed help.It's their cries that I hear and respond to.Shame on anyone that puts themselves and their agenda ahead of this.Also,who determines that anyone is enough of a person to moderate?
