Default Want To Help The Site?

Just wanted to make an update for everyone about the site. I was hoping to give the site a big update software wise and look, but that will have to wait for a little while longer. The site is doing fine in that aspect so it’s not a priority. But what is a priority and can’t wait for the update are a couple of things.

Sadly, there are people still having personal attacks on members here. I said it wasn’t going to be tolerated and it won’t. It doesn’t matter if you’re an old member or not, it’s just not cool!

Also there are people here who like to use “funny language” or like to make sexual references. I always said I made this site to be a kid-family friendly site. It’s a site for people to share and read information, not BS. Besides my personal preference for the tone of the site, if the site is to remain online for years to come, it must remain free of that kind of language for various reasons. Anytime there is funny language being used it puts the board in danger of being shut down.

I won’t go into details, but it is what it is, as they say. Look I don’t ask for much, just respect each other, and no hard language, in return I pay the bills and keep the site up.
There will be no more references to sexual activity, unless it’s in the clinical-vague form allowed on the site period. I have received many complaints on this.

Also any outright promotion of “cures” and other bull will be deleted right away. I am trying to make the site family, commercial free, safe informational site for people of all ages. For the record, 95% of the people here are nice and fair with each other.

Lets try to make this the most respected morgellons forum site online. If you have any questions or suggestions, please let me know.

Finally if you would like to help the cause and the site, please let me know if you would like to be a MOD here. I am looking to get as many as possible who would like to help and agree with the site’s purpose. Sent me a email.

Thanks Franky - that's reassuring about your continued aims for MDR.
I'd be happy to MOD as part of a small team of MODs. I value this place in so many ways.

Thanks again
Jo

Default morgellons

Hi! I'm on my 2nd time with this horrible disease. Its been 4 years since I had it. It is much more vicious this time, & I am seeing many more different kinds under my microscope & experiencing different symptoms then the 1st time around. Some remedies I used in the past are not working as well as the 1st time. I really need to know about ways to rid them from my home, car, laundry & air Please let me know if anyone has any suggertions. Thanks!

Hi patricia please look through the site. You will find much information, and post some questions as well. I took out your email from your post because its not a good idea to post your email. You will get alot of junk emails sent to you.

Default Introductions

Hi Franky,

I was wondering if you might consider moving the Introductory Thread up to the top box of the threads so it might be more visible to new members. I could not find it at first myself when I joined and have noticed that it doesn't seem to get utilized too much and maybe in a new spot it would.

Thanks.

I think this is a great suggestion CS as new posters often remark that they do not know where to go on the board to make an introductory post. I know that was my problem too when new here and so I wound up on Steve Frey's thread which was a Morgellons theory thread. I now know that was probably a strange place to pick and no doubt senior members back then thought that too, but at the time it made sense to me as I had been exposed to some bad seafood which started the whole Morgellons issue for me. Anyway, guess it made a splash of some sort and introduced me to the way forums work which was also new to me.

Ok what do you mean exactly? Move the "Introductory Thread" forum up. Is that what you mean?So they see it first under the general section?
