Update

First I am truly sorry for all the people wondering where I have been and what’s going on with the site. To be honest, the past year or so hasn’t been the greatest for me. Now I know my personal troubles can’t be compared to the majority of people here and elsewhere, but nonetheless they were a big hindrance to me. I got badly hurt and then the recession hit full force and work became very hard, among other things.

I am not going to go into detail and bore you, but eventually lost my job not too long ago. We were hoping that the business would survive, but it wasn’t meant to be. I had a great boss, but he was forced to shut down, so now I am jobless. Basically I was too hurt, tired and busy looking for work to totally commit to the site, and at the time the site was running fine. Any way things are much better now, but still jobless.

Believe me if this website still meant something to people, I was going to make it much better, more features etc. Which I will still do down the road, if I find the website is still widely needed. The fact of the matter, running a forum really is a passion for webmasters and extremely hard to run and keep up. This is why lots of big forums over the years eventually shut down. (high costs, too much spam, fighting)

I almost shut down last time we had major fighting, but I knew there were good people who needed the site up. This post is already way to long lol, so let’s get to the point. Every member here now has a free pass, but after this, any fighting will be taken as a request to be taken off the site. Any spam, selling and negativity has got to go! This was, is a support site. If you can’t post a question or a supportive post, then don’t post. I will be on every week now and can be reached at morgellonsmdr@hotmail.com

Hi Franky,

I'm sorry to hear about your job folding and think it's great that you've kept the site going - thanks for that.

I think the site is still very useful, in many ways, and now holds a lot of history as well as on-going contributions from new and old members.

I'd hate to see it go.

I’m very glad to hear that the fighting will be stopped. I would also like to see all the reposting of things someone may have said years ago stopped, just because they may have believed something years ago doesn’t mean they still do today. The last few times I’ve come to the site for information it seems to be more he said she said instead of information about what we’re all going though.
It’s a great site for support and history so thank you for all you have done to make the site possible.

I am a new member and feared that I would have to find some other place to find/share information about this disease i just recently have been infected with. Seeing your rapid response to what was happening to your site, gives me encouragement that I will be able to make use of all the vital information that is stored here. Knowing this site can still be maintained as a supporting one brings hope within me that I AM NOT ALONE in my suffering.

I hope what you are going through right now is short termed and better days will enlighten you.

I know what you mean about a failed attempt at living, things are not what they used to be. I myself am looking for a new direction.

I hear so many of my friends all business men of one kind or another say, where do we go from here.

A couple of them took jobs that were way beneath them just to feel useful, less money more life.
