MDR Update

Number one, we seem to be getting an influx of very angry members and people with personal agendas yet again. I have been very easy going for a long time, I understand we are dealing with sick people and I really feel for you. But being sick does not excuse crude, hostile and even violent threatening language here on the site.

I for one don’t like it; it makes you look less credible and also there are huge legal liability issues as well. Besides possibly losing the site, people can get in unneeded trouble. I won’t stand for that for myself and others here.

Besides that the site was never meant for that, the site was for people to just get together so they did not feel like they were all alone in the world, like my friend felt. It wasn’t meant for a place where you battle the world from; there are plenty of other forums for that in the net.
This one of the reasons why I love the net, there is something for everyone on it.

Number two, right now I am working on some fair rules/guidelines which the site is lacking. Also any old or new members who can’t act in a decent adult manner will be asked to leave. I really don’t care if the site is left with 5 nice members, it will be my pleasure to keep the site up for them.

I also want to thank Carla for the all the help she has done for the site pretty much alone every since I have been hit with a string of bad luck, trust me it’s been very hard on her. But I will be helping and so will a new mod soon. And really all the members should be helping each other as well to keep peace here.

Finally I get so much email on the default account here; I wanted to offer a new email in particular for the members. Please use the email for major problems, if you want to get in touch with me and such, I will look there everyday. I am sorry if I seem a bit harsh but I have to look out for the longevity of the site and the safety of the members.

Thank you Franky. There is never an excuse for fowl language, demeaning someone else, or their post fighting here. I am happy you are going to stop it. I love MDR and find so much help and support here. Again, I say if you don't like something don't read it or comment about it.

Agree with you Franky, that the very angry members are a turn off and that hostile and threatening
language is shocking - recalling one particular post with lots of the above in it.

Also agree that it makes a person look less credible when they behave (communicate) in that manner.

I have enjoyed the freedom here of searching for an answer to this condition- with minimal problems.

Thanks for keeping the forum available for our pursuit of the cause of this condition!

One of the best things about this site is there is a air of freedom, FREEDOM. It is not the old biddys next door scolding the children all the time. There are times when everyone gets a little out of hand, but there are no saints here either, this is not a religious retreat.

There seems to be times when people get here that they are having the hell fire and brimstone rendition of I will save the world if I have to kill some of them. Hitler probably also thought this way. Soon they calm down and we gain yet another avid mind, still a mind that also has a personality.

I have no ill regard for anyone here, never will, never have, no matter what you say or insinuate to me. I have a child, thus nobody else could every harm me, LOL.

I do not agree with a word you say but I will defend to the death your right to say it!

If we could help all the people that are angry, people in pain, people that over medicate because of problems with drugs and alcohol, people that have problems doing the simple things because of brain fog, then just weed out the people that will never be a friend to anyone maybe this would be utopia, but that ain't gonna happen, everyday we get new people, scared people, some wacos, but that is THE DAYS OF OUR LIVES, LOL.

Still threatening to hunt people down and do harm to them is a bit overboard, can't we do somthing like redirect their anger and point them towards the polititians? Having no diversity at all would be like siting at breakfast in the sanitarium,( where our DOCTOR DOPE DEALERS would send us all if they could) after taking our morning DOP DRUGS and talking about the color of the food, over and over again!

Why............Hi their Franky!!... I feel some folk should have been notified before this all got out of hand,.......40 or so pages of the same stuff,......and upteen pages more on sponges,,......ya I did surly said some thing,....but after being bad mouthed ....this is not a T V show or Ego show,.......some one should have stepped in long before it became a BIGGER problem,....it was a problem at 15 pages,....ya can't fry the cat for catching the mouse,.....would have been better to put the mouse in a box. P.S.........Bam!! .....very well said,....I agree with that whole heartedly,....this is a natural occurrence in many social settings,....at one time Bam & I had a problem,....but we became good friends,......and Janice apologized to me very gracefully,...& I feel we made an other friend. so life gos on.
