Hey guys, I am not a genius or a angle, but one thing I have lots of is, common sense and street smarts. Just wanted to discuss this or just plainly state, keep your eyes open! As morgellons becomes more official and mainstream the vultures will come out more and more to prey on the sick. I have seen this happen time after time. This is really a message for the newbies esp to the internet world. You will begin to see so called doctors and researchers proclaiming everything from cures to magic treatments. They will all want to sell you their magic potions and creams, most that will be junk. I am not saying their are items that don't help, just do some major research before you start spending your hard earned cash. Also you will find "sites" that are supposed to be for morgellons info sharing, but actually are commercials for their wares. They make tons on money on the sick and desperate, which really burns me. ![]()

This type of scheme has been occurring awhile unfortunately. A friend of mine who swore her saline breast implants were giving her problems and searching for answers online. She was "befriended" by someone on a message board who was emailing her back in forth for months with apparent support. Suddenly, she was offered a special formula her new friend swore ended her swollen lymph glands, at a cost of over 100 dollars. When she declined, her friend, disappeared never to be heard from again. Turns out she had thyroid cancer and was able to render it to remission. Something like this happened to me another medical forum. Turns out a woman had become friendly with me to push an oxygen treatment at this hospital an Phoenix. When I insisted I could manage with my local resources she disappeared...probably to seek her next meal courtesy of her network marketing plan. It's unfortunate the only treatment for such "emerging parasites" is a healthy sense of skepticism If it looks like a fluke, smells like a fluke, it's a fluke!

EvDownJr thank you for sharing your misfortune with these charlatans! Good information for newbies out there. Its unfortunate but you also have to look out for "friends" with hidden agendas as well. Use common sense and sometimes going with your gut feeling helps. Do your research people! ![]()
