Forum Privacy

I have been getting some emails about forum privacy and search engines. Now here is the deal, yes we do get indexed by the search engines, yes we are open to the general public. In other words we are not a private forum. I could easily make it private, but i wont. It defects the whole purpose of the site! The purpose of the site is to provide information, tips and support to people looking for it. The only we can have this, is by having a open forum and by being indexed by the search engines. I am sure 95% of the people here found us by using the search engines.

So if you believe you have overly private information to you, then don't post it. But believe me we are on the bottom of the list with government concerns.

Just wanted to say that's exactly how I found you guys -- a search engine. I had been on several other forums but couldn't find anyone on them who was having some specific symptoms I was facing so I googled -- and lo and behold, the answers I was looking for were right on this site. (And I've been here every since hehehe)

So I totally agree about not taking this private. Thanks again for creating this wonderful old place Señor Franky!

I completely agree with making it public, since it's how I found you as well. I'd just like to know how to change my name and also delete my past posts.
