Hi String Bean, I have never tried calamine lotion for the itching but why not, I've tried so many other things. I wrote to moms doctor today, but he never called me. I hope he doesn't think I'm crazy as I wrote a 7 page letter listing all the problems she is having and how she has been suffering a long time and needs treatment for many different things that have been neglected for years now. Maybe I offended him, but I was just thinking of my mom.

I used permethian cream when I first got this disease, the derms didn't know what else to do as I was complaining of itching. It did help. Unfortunately, I need a doctor to prescribe it and maybe it's just my town, but doctors don't want to look, they stay across the room and say they don't see anything. Thanks for the tips. Snow
