BBC and channel 4 over here in Uk have covered some of the food stories over the years, some really shocking stuff, like the dumping of infant formula in Africa by very well known manufacturer beginning with N. years ago that caused the deaths of babies as their mother's innocently prepared their babies milk in infected water in non-sterile bottles, the demise of the wonderful Orangutang due to mans desire for cheap palm oil, when there are alternatives, ohh the list goes on and on, it scares me to death. I think that programmes like this are getting the message out there, gone are the days when people thought that these were just a bunch of tree hugging hippies. I for one would rather eat food from a neighbours garden than buy perfectly rounded cloned veg. I think we should all start growing and swapping stuff - supplement and compliment - back to the old barter systems what a plan
