I don't think anyone is ruling out the normal ways to get sick Janice. Still if you think about it food which no longer nourishes the body in the way God intended will lower the immune system, not only of mankind but any animals which are also fed this food. So far what we know about GMO foods shows it is not feeding the body properly. This will make it easier for all of us to get sick and to acquire parasitic infections. Then the meat and milk they produce will also not be meat and milk we used to eat, but will be deficient no doubt in many nutrients. That is not even counting all the pesticides, hormones and antibiotics which are used on animals as that's been going on for a long time.

I am sure we have had many people traveling around since the 1960's. Before mankind fooled around with the food supply we did not appear to have all this weird stuff breaking out the way we do now. There has to be something different in the mix and it could well be that GMO foods is at least part of that mix. I realize that right now everything just correlates and that there is so far no proven connection, but many of us who have morgellons do wonder about it all and with good reason I think.
