Broadly defined, endorsements and testimonials encompass any advertising messages that consumers are likely to believe reflects the honest opinion, beliefs, findings, or experience of a party other than the sponsoring advertiser. Endorsements should not contain express or implied representations that would be deceptive, or could not be substantiated, if made directly by the advertiser.
