Zara, what I am using may not be specific to parasites, but seems to be clearing them out of the intestinal/liver/gall bladder areas and so far is also drying up the skin lesions too. It's too bad I don't know the exact herbs in the formulas (or indeed the chinese pinyan names), as just knowing a couple of the herbs does tell enough about the formula. It's always possible some of the herbs do have anthelmintic effects in the body. Well, I just looked up one of the herbs I do know is in the formula and it is used for parasites! And heartburn (another recent symptom and which I feel is related to the Morgs). My heartburn is getting better too. Still, as you know, not every formula will work for everyone as TCM treats symptoms not diagnoses as does Western medicine and herbalism.

Just something interesting I ran across on itmonline.com:

"According to the Chinese interpretation, when skin lesions do not heal quickly, this indicates that both the qi and blood are deficient."

That should help your practitioner I think. Here is the article I was reading:

Danggui Yinzi: Tang-kuei and Tribulus Combination

This article discusses a TCM formula which is used to treat itchy skin, a formula little used in China itself. The communist party kind of wiped out a lot of the old time TCM practitioners and burned many of the old books too. It is still used by practitioners from Taiwan and Japan. The herb tang-kuei is in one of my formulas (though it is not this formula). Itchy skin is seen as coming from wind which is a liver symptom.
