I have been told by someone in the research profession that the CDC does not have the proper budget to carry out a proper research. In order to get Morgellons a priority it has to be given the order from congress and for congress to make it a priority the disease has to be considered an epidemic or at least pandemic. This means it has to be proved that it moves fast, it has affected many more people than just (just!) the few thousand self diagnosed registered on morgellons support groups, and there has to be an international outcry of world wide affliction.
I would suggest that research is done in different languages on the internet to see just how many people in different countries are dealing with this around the world. Once the numbers are significant the WHO - World Health Organisation -have to step in.(no, it is not enough to say there are some people in the English speaking countries - need to check all countries) With that info congress and WHO can be lobbied.
