A weird thing, just before I got this illness I was living in a small hotel room w two ppl, one of whom had just almost died from Leishmaniasis. They had both just been rescued from a jungle in South America and there was still something wrong w their clothes and blankets.
They are both fine and do not have this. while I was there at one point I got a super high fever for a week or so, but they had some pills I took that helped.
I don't THINK I got this from that, although I did consider it, but I do think "things" I was exposed to there merged somehow w the M.
I started having the first overt symptoms just a bit after they left.
(On the other hand, just after they left I was bitten by a couple of ticks.) |
