Pointing out what you said is not being negative and is helpful to people who have Morgellons, as they can assess what you say now. It gives a perspective about how you think. Deny it all you will, you mentioned the “cure” word and still seem headed in that direction with what you say currently. I think proof of a cure is needed before stating that something may be a cure and raising hopes prematurely. It is sensible for people to expect proof of such claims.

I have an entirely different viewpoint of the body after having studied TCM informally for many years now. In this view what is going on as far as symptoms in the individual is treated. Symptoms of Morgellons (or any disease) differ from person to person. Also symptoms change over time in each individual. So a one size fits all herbal cure may never happen. This is why many herbs which treat diseases other than Morgellons do not work for every person who takes them. The same is true of pharmaceutical drugs. I have tried herbal cleanses on my own, and yet currently the herbal formulas I am using which fit my current symptoms are doing a far better job than did the standard Western one size fits all herbal cleanses I have used in the past. I am not saying these cleansers do not work at all, but for me they were greatly insufficient.

I am working at getting better, but I am doing it with the help of someone in TCM and acupuncture who knows far more than I do about which herbs will treat my current symptoms, changing treatment as symptoms change.

You know I, too, could easily say that what you have said sometimes to others on this forum is trash talk and is often less than polite as well as quite directive.

I do not view myself as a victim and a loser because I had the misfortunate to get Morgellons. A victim mentality implies that someone or something has control over me, and I choose not to view life or myself in that way. Calling yourself and others who have Morgellons victims seems extremely negative to me (since you are playing the victim and negativity cards here). Let's hope that you are trying to help others as you claim you are and are not creating more of what you call "victims" here, whether of their illness or a phantom "cure".

It would be nice if you would pay attention to what has gone on this forum earlier, as a lot of what newcomers say can be offensive. Such as when newcomers act as if the subjects they bring up have never been discussed before or assume forum relationships which have never existed. That is why most people lurk for some time before joining forums. Such faux pas are then minimized. It would be nice, too, if you would not call me or anyone else here names because (gasp) someone has the temerity to disagree with you.

No.) This is not the same product as in my 2008 post, it is something made new for us since then. You read that in my recent posts here, right? I was positive in 2008, I'm positive now, I will always keep being positive for us. If I sat around idly on a blog and said 'there is no CURE' - Who would that be helping? Plus, it's negative. I've been on a quest for us since Day 1. Safe, cheap, not a treatment, not a chemical, metal or Big Pharma. Prolly would have tried more CURES, but I do each thing and give it it's due time. I'm not here to argue, TCM, I'm here to help. If you feel that quoting everything I ever wrote since kindergarten is the only way for you to help victims and yourself, then Rock On.
It looked like you and Tinky are friends, since you both seem to want to talk trash in this post and she is saying 'TYS' to you about KCKC and I 'hmmm', but no, I haven't been following the forum, as you are quick to point out: I am a new arrival. I'm not really concerned with doing detailed research to quote fellow victims posts on this or other blogs from yrs ago, nor do I have the time to do so.
I apologize if I sounded short. I reiterate, I'm not here to argue with fellow victims, to go back and forth and waste time - it's counterproductive. You see me trying to help us in 2008. Yup, I'm proud to be doing the same thing in 2010. If I stopped trying and went 'There is no cure' and we all gave up, we might as well just wait for the Centers for Disease Cover Up.
I think I have heard of that Dr. Kolb that you mentioned in conjunction with a nurse I spoke to. I was looking for victims to align with, to take action with, activism-wise. The person I spoke to said the victims she had access to couldn't help because they were so brain fogged they couldn't spell. Which made me think that what they are doing isn't working (what I posted in my 2nd treatment blog, even that one parasite cleanse not from Overman's can kick the Fog pretty fast) and I didn't seek them for treatment. Please don't base your assessment of Doc Overman/Precision Herbs on Dr. Kolb's treatment or costs, because that's just one of Precision's many product distributors. They don't all do exactly what Precision will do. One way to prove me wrong, TCM: Do the consultation. Try to find a CURE with me It IS possible.
I know we've ALL been let down, I don't blame you for being Negative Nancy, but it isn't productive. Let's talk causes, cures, investigation - things that are relevant to TODAY vs. years ago, k? I've learned a lot since 2008, I bet we all have.
Here's a quote from you, TCM, that bothered me as much as my eternal optimism seems to bother you and then perhaps we can move on from the quotes and blog-clogging:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Precision is probably Precision Herbs. At one time I know Overman, the owner of the site, was selling herbs and some other expensive treatments to treat Morgellons.
-------------------------
TCM: What is the personal experience w/Dr. Overman that you are speaking of? What are the herbs that were personally suggested to you/did you do a consultation/when/who was the specific ND that you consulted there/what was the treatment and what was the cost? Thank you for your help!
