Hey EnrivoGirl, You mentioned in Your Story about a bent paperclip looking thing under your skin. That's a Hookworm. Fairly common in Florida. I had one in my foot years ago. I forget what kind of medicine the dr gave me, but it was a chewable the size of a quarter. I think I had to take 3 total and it fixed me right up. I haven't seen a hookworm since : ) Several other kind but not hookworms.
Also kckc mentioned a rash on her abdomen after riding horses. Threadworms
tend to go to that area.You may not read that in every article you read about threadworms. There is contradicting info all over about worms. And pinworms and threadworms are not the same as some articles suggest. |
