Nah, no fireplace, used the burners on the kitchen gas stove - prolly bad, but I never had that happen before...It ended up being 54.5 hrs! You don't realize how used to the comforts you get! We've hardly gotten much snow in recent years, never enough to knock us out for days, even 1 single day.
