I know they LOVE any type of stuffing, filling, padding. LOVE IT!
In fact, if we could go to a coat store together I could show you, any jacket I pick up and run my fingers over.... BAM! Little white things start coming out. The little long wormlike strings. Some of them I think are the actual nematodes, and some seem to be some related fiber product.
I bought one cute pink coat and did not notice until I got home it is filled with BLACK worms. You can see them coming out right through the pink jacket. At first you just see one and it looks like a long black hair (not my color), then you see more and more, then notice them coming out of the lining!!!!! YUK!
What about spraying lysol each time before you sit down? I have leather seats too and I do that sometimes. Also, if you can afford to get it detailed as often as possible, or just keep vacuuming it on your own. |
I agree with Fracky it is most likely what is inside. I am actually more comfortable on our leather couches then I was our microfiber fabric couches though. I have seen it in stinching as well. I thru away a winter coat because it made me itch like crazy and the fibers would just surface out of no where. I have no idea what I am going to do about a coat this year I guess I am lucky that I live in Southern California and don't need one most of the time.
Anytime I go to a store I can now recognize infested clothes not only by fibers but other deposits on the clothes.
