 Gentian
Yea, it sounds alot like gentian violet to me. Gentian violet is a dye extracted from coal tar that dyes an area of skin inhibiting the growth of fungus or bacteria untill the dye washes out.
I used it a bit back when I was infected and it helped to a degree but wasn't capable of doing what other treatments did. I did notice that the gentian would dye follicles for days longer than the surrounding skin in an area that was infected, which is a good sign that backs this being a fungal issue that affects follicles. |
