Oh dear! Be careful... in how you phrase things... so many of us have alienated our families and loved ones from our lives by being truthful. We just don't know much about Morgellons yet, the medical/scientists/CDC have been slow in responding to our disease.

Tell them that it appears to be related to Lymes Disease... that's a good place to start. And, maybe end with - it's being presently researched by the CDC, noone knows exactly what it is at this time? And, it doesn't appear to be contagious or the CDC would have acted faster or said so by now?

You will find that anyone who hasn't had the "M" experience, it is hard for them to understand what it is you're going through and so much of it sounds like a "B" Grade science fiction movie, and they can't possibly understand... telling them the truth - scares them and ends up putting you in a 'bad light'... the best thing to do is to go into the 'gory' details with your 'other family' members out here... we've heard it all... and btw - welcome to the family.

And, try to live as 'normal' a life as possible.
