I am sorry about your cat. Can you please answer a few question. Was your cat thin, but with a large stomach area? Just trying to figure out how sick your cat was as compared to my cat Ollie.
Did the kitty seem hungry? Like the morgie bugs were eating it or its food. Trying to sleep and just lethargic, seem to be what my cat does.
Sounds like you have a very smart vet. I do not suppose that you live in ;Texas.
