Thanks SS for bringing this up. I noticed Bubba mentioned in her treatments to go for far infrared saunas that reach temp of above 120F.
I too have been looking for cheap way to try this treatment. I stumbled on a heater here in UK, in Comet store made by Phillips (good brand) - its 300 Watt at £40.

I bought it yesterday and am going to fully test it over the next week. The heat is intense - you place the heater at least 25cm away from skin.
The health benefits are scientifically proven to reduce pain and improve blood circulation. They recommend short treatments (15mins) twice a day is more effective than longer ones.
If the rays penetrate well below the skin surface, I'm going to study the effect on my larvae load and gonna see if it reduces people itching around me. I will also check any changes in: skin capilary refill, greasiness, pore size.
This heater is very lightweight and portable - and even my cat has had two sittings lol.
