Mark -

You are right on with this. Unfortunately, I used shelf peroxide (didn't even know about food grade at the time) but I still had excellent results. It took months of continual misting, but it worked.

It's amazing. When I sprayed peroxide on my computer chair, mouse pad, and even keyboard "larva" would mysteriously appear. I sprayed the inside of my car, and one popped out of the dashboard!!

Using your method, I imagine that the oxygen level inside the house would increase, temporarily. H2O2 breaks down into water and oxygen. Breathing the oxygen-enriched air is very good - not exactly hyperbaric treatment, but in the same vein.

As I said in another thread, I ran cool mist vaporizers with peroxide, as well as spot applications of it for 3-4 months. As I used 3% (and not 17.5%, like you) I don't think it harmed my mucous membranes. In fact, I think it cleared my lungs. After about a month or so of breathing the vapor, I hacked up for days. And for the first time in a year, my lungs felt "normal". Of course, a natural brunette, I soon became a blond.

I take the Opaline Dry Oxy caps, and use oxygenated (or ozonated) oils on my skin. I ozonate the air now and then (when I am not home) and that, too, breaks down into Oxygen. I used a timer, and go back in the house an hour after it shuts off. I have it set up near the HVAC intake so that it goes through the duct work and disperses throughout the house.
Use caution with this, though - ozone can be harmful to electronics and will break down rubber/plastics.
