I have several places/times that I could have gotten infected (or ?). About 3 years ago, I had a hysterectomy with blood given to me. Plus hospitals are notorius for causing infections. Also I was given Cipro and became allergic to it. Itching there also.
Also we live on a small farm. The farmer across the street had someone spray his land. The plane flew over our house to get to that field. So I am sure we received some of this lovely product.
My first known reaction to things, was itching. My dermatologist said I had Prurigo Nodularis. Gave me loads of cream and said stop scratching so much. Back to him again, and by that time I was digging to get out these things. It felt like staple under my skin. Was very painful at that time. Painful if you itched and painful if you did not. So, over a course of possibly a years. That went on.
Then I started researching on the internet. And before I saw this great forum, I had started to see bugs - different shapes and sizes. Sometimes they came up to do their multiplying and sometimes they worked underneath my skin. Lots of movement.
After I had been listening to all of yall here, I told my dermatologist what I thought I had. Big, Hughe, mistake. I now have a derm. that believes. I also told my husband about the "bugs" and tried to make him see them (many times). Of course he could not see anything there. So my husband took me to my family doctor, and out come the crazy pills. I was so mad, they looked and acted like I was not able to do anything for myself.
I started using some of the things I heard on this site and it helped a little. I also searched the internet again and found a doctor in my area. The beginning of feeling like a regular person. I still go to this doctor, as I am still having movement, itching, sores and of course the mental side of this disease. That part went on for 1 year.
My doctor did a blood test for mycoplasma, and mine was 3 x as high as it should have been. I love this doctor. Between yall and her, you saved my sanity and my life!!!
