Default CLOTHES- discovered something just now

Due to the many washes my clothes have been through, they are getting ragged and the edges are exceptionally ragged and shredding.

I have been either cutting this off or burning it off. I took a close look today and noticed the finer fibers from the ragged edges and pulled them off to look at. Without any specialty testing, I would guess at a high % rate that they are the same thing as the "M" fibers on me and elsewhere.

They are elastic like, shiny, and stretch when pulled, ans when pukked of there is the regular cotton fiber stuff around them. When looking at them under magnified glass on top of magnified mirror, I about flipped!!

I have been using Yellow Out and Iron Out in my wash because of the iron in our water. It is disgusting. I am wondering if this may kiil it. I don't know what is in it, I can't seem to find the ingredients on container. But you can't have it by your face at all, especially when you open it because you can actually see the vapors come out. This is the first product in my life I have ever bought that des what it says it will do.

Now, about these clothes: I wear jeans with elastic only in the back. I have also noticed that in other clothing, sometimes there seems to be what might be "M" related in the stitching or the elastic around the legs on nylon undies. However, in all the clothes, it seems that it takes a few washings for this to become noticable to us who sadly happen to know about and have experience with "M".

Has anyone else seen such things?

It gets me wondering now about the neck, ankles, wrist, and anywhere ther may be elastic or seams stitched, and what is thread for stitching made from.

I looked again and can hardly believe it. One has the coarser thing unevenly through it with the shiny one and then there are the squiggly ones going outward and around it like they do on Q-tips.I'm going to try and take a picture if I can.
