Science agrees that the plaques associated with alzheimer's look like a sponge, the composition of the plaques are nearly identical to the collagen fibrils produced by the sponge, the neurofibrillary tangles associated with Alzheimer's are identical in size as the spongin-B fibers produced by the sponge and the molecular masses of the proteins associated with these tangles, 68, 64, or 60 kDa, have also been found to be associated with the sponge.
There is simply much more evidence that the sponge is the cause of Alzheimer's than the unproven Prion theory, just because this guy won the Nobel prize for his theory doesn't mean it's right, it's obvious that the individuals who award the prize are a little out of touch with reality when you consider who they just gave the Peace prize to, a man that has done absolutely nothing to deserve it. |

Steve- you could best defend your theory by researching it- as relates to real life- IOW- show
where sponges are used so you can support how people may have been infected with them.
A for-instance would/could be- the sponges that women used back in the day- as birth control.
Not a barb - just stating what I would do with any given theory.
