I just took a brief look at the last couple patents that were linked by another poster, and I saw your question about further explanation so here it is.

The last couple posts talked about something called alternative cellular energy which is exactly what it claims, an alternate source of energy in used in a cell.

I did some reading on the subject, which is very scarce, but it seems that these fibers have been noted in different organisms including humans during the rebuilding of cellular damage in tissues. Fibers that are UV active appear, form a network and eventually supply energy to the cell through UV light (in our coming from an engineered UV light or the sun) that soaks into these fibers and produces this network of energy.

Very interesting to say the least. Seems very plausible that this is involved with the evolution and healing process that several individuals as well as myself have experienced only after becoming infected with morgellons and triggering a response. Several individuals including myself experienced the initial itching and irritation caused by heat, sun and sweat, only to find that once the lesions faded, the sun seemd to now assist the healing process instead of hindering it.

Hope this helps. The individual who designed those patents seems to have had the objective of using engineered UV lights to fuel this process at a skin level.
