Oh yes. It's marvellous fun...
On the Subject of Iron and Mercury Detox:
The supplement
IP6 (Inositol Hexaphosphate, aka: Phytic Acid) at say 1000 mg twice a day is a good chelator of iron. (I am going to write a post in a minute about a strategy for treating Morgellon's that I believe may be extremely effective, and it features IP6, amongst other supplements).
As I understand it, for
mercury, there is a two-fold problem in trying to get it out. You need a good chelator to get mercury out of the body, but the problem is that a lot of mercury gets lodged deep inside the brain and central nervous system, which is beyond the reach of any chelator (the brain and central nervous system is insulated from the rest of the body by the impermeable blood brain barrier).
The solution is to include in your detox protocol the herb cilantro (coriander), which you can usually buy fresh in a Middle Eastern, Arabic or Indian grocery stores. Eating coriander is known to dump the mercury out of the brain, and into the blood stream; so as long as you are also taking a good mercury chelator at the same time, this chelator will pick up the mercury just dumped into the blood, and flush it completely out of the body. So it is a two-stage process.
You probably already know all this, but writing it it may help someone else as well.
Can I ask, for Candidiasis, did you get a lab diagnosis for this, or are you basing this on symptoms? Although I like alternative medicine, sometimes it can be wrong, and the books about systemic Candidiasis may be a case where it is misleading. See here:
Candidiasis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Of course local candidiasis, in the mouth etc, is more common, but this is not the same systemic Candidiasis, which is very rare (except in HIV).
