Seasprite -
They are treating you for a bacterial infection.. but they need to be treating you for a fungal infection! The fact that cheese and sugar both makes it react tells me its fungal. Since I have a high candida and high fungal load, I react to all kinds of molds and yeasts in food and in the environment. Cheese may contain mold, even if you can't see it, which is why the anti-candida diet recommends that most cheeses are to be avoided. Sugar feeds fungus, which is why you are feeling the tingling sensation?
Can you switch to an anti-candida diet? This should help some, and you should continue to use anti-fungals on the sores (like oregano.. you can also try some diluted tea-tree oil and there are a lot of other things similar you can try).. can you get back to the doc and ask them to culture it? I would also try to tell them that this may be fungal and not bacterial... |
