Hello, Hallhouse.
Can we say that your idea is a theory? I don't believe that there is any evidence to prove that this is a classical parasite and anti-parasitic medications do not work to eradicate it. I believe that the "seeds" or "specks" are just an artifact created by the actual organism but are not biological. I have found these "seeds" in my skin that when viewed under microscopes are actually hatching a tiny plant. Plant DNA has also been found in Morgellons samples by scientists in the Netherlands and in the US. The 'bug', as I call, manufactures these artifacts from the material in your body using a code that it carries in it's own Frankenstein DNA or RNA. None of the artifacts tested have been proven to be an organism or parasite so to speak. The causal infectious agent has not yet been identified. I would postulate that the infectious organism is microscopic and has DNA from multiple organisms which have been spliced together with a specific function in mind. This does not occur in nature.
Grace.
