I guess what I was looking for was more than, "anything's possible" answer?
Since we have had discussion here on this forum possibly implicating nematodes, I thought this situation with your completely shut and taped dishes all of a sudden containing a nematode might open up some interest in seeing if there is a connection.
LIke, possibly a nematode dna lurking along with the other critters in the water, or being recombinantly connected.
