Nitric oxide along with it's product-- Peroxynitrite (oxidant) initiates a
biochemical cycle- which causes illness.
Stressors- raise levels of nitric oxide or other cycle elements

To treat- NO- must be lowered or down-regulated in order to treat the cause of the illness rather than just the symptoms
He mentions NF-kappa B- which turns on the inflammatory cytokine genes- that encode the
inducible NO synthase (iNOS).....
He suggests that MS, tinnitus, alzheimer's, Parkinson's, MLS, Asthma are associated with this process in addition to CFS and FM
