One thing that I find intriguing is the way specific elements, like gold for example, change colors depending on the size (nanometer) of the particles. This color is integral to the nanoparticle, and supports the finding that the color of the fibers cannot be removed from the fibers regardless of technique used.
Are these fibers actually made of nanomaterials?
