I was actually thinking about you two while posting this! It takes a lot of guts to deal with these horrible things. I don't even own a magnifier, and I don't often look at threads/posts that have pictures.
The worst "symptom" I still deal with is the psychological aspect. And looking at these things just creeps me too much.
Not sure how much would be involved, as there are probably some preliminary things that would have to be done (trying to interpret the site).
BUT - Kammy - if you need help covering the cost of the dna (should you send stuff in), I will help you. PM me, OK?
The independent, scientific identification of these things is what is needed. You will surely get an attentive audience if you can fill in the gaps with these analyses!
