Now that I'm pretty certain that we are dealing with the parasitic fungus arthrobotrys, the question is, how do we keep it from forming the sticky nets. There is some information about that and sugars, namely oligosaccarides. The link I have is for a different species but we need more research on the inhibition of the formation of the adhesive nets. In this link they talk about Bovine mucin (something like that) - does that mean a component of cow's milk. If so, we might be able to put that on a lesion, or a form of oligosaccarides, and at least inhibit the lesions.
